 Rid me of her.



 

Dear God

I can't seem to resist her,

she's irresistible. 

The glimmer in her eyes attracts my helpless soul,

I think I'm in love with her. 


Dear God

I can't resist her,

She's like an electric current

 that surges through me and makes my blood torrent. 

She's the ocean tide that dictates where my ship sails. 


She's irresistible,

She's like the opposite end of a pole that attracts my pole. 

I'm the fire and she's the ice,

She puts me out.

But come to think of it, the good thing is that she calms me down, right?

She's like cocaine to my addicted soul. 


Dear God

Have you seen her?

She's so beautiful and attractive,

No beauty compares to hers. 

Her beauty charges my heart 

and teaches my foot swiftness and mischief. 


Dear God

Please take away my eyes

That I may not see her.

Her appearance is tempting,

everything about her spells evil and doom

But she's too enticing to reject.


Dear God

Cut off my legs,

They seem to follow her directives,

They are swift to mischief. 


What will be left if you take away all my body parts?

She seems to be in control of all of them. 

But how will I cope without my legs and my eyes?


Dear God 

Teach me to resist her,

teach me to flee from sin and all appearance of evil. 

Make her ugly in my sight 

I am tired of her manipulation.

Dear God,

Save me!

                I know it's been more than a while,I agree, I plead guilty of the charges laid against me. I'm not going to argue of justify myself, I was wrong for neglecting you, I know I was busy with our podcast, but it's still not enough reason to leave you hanging.
