Dear God

I heard I was created in your image,

Are you ugly too?

My facial appearance is nothing to write home about.

If you are truly my creator,

If truly I was created in your image

I should be beautiful too!

Dear daughter 

You are indeed created in my image.

You are beautiful,

No other beauty compares to yours.

You are unique.

Dear God

I have heard enough lies,

Lies from people that have seen my broken state 

I need the truth from you!

Do you have scars too?

My face is decorated with scars of different sizes.

Mum says I've had them since birth.

Dear daughter

Vitiligos are not scars,

They are a part of you,

They contribute to your beauty

Learn to live with them. 

Beauty emanates from self love,

Love yourself first!

Dear God

Facial appearance aside,

why am I crippled?

Why can't I get things done like normal people do?

Why can't I walk?

Being crippled has confined me in a box,

I can't move beyond that box! 

Dear creator, are you crippled too?

Dear daughter

The problem is not with you being physically crippled, 

It's with you being mentally crippled. 

Disabilities don't equal disadvantages,

It's you that's banking on your disabilities to claim disadvantageous.

Shake of your crippled mentally and walk! 

There are possibilities In disabilities.

Rise up, your future awaits you,

Claim it!

This is God's message to you, every part and component of your body contributes to your beauty, they make you YOU. Don't hafe yourself because of your scars, they contribute to your beauty, they show that you overcame life's trails. 

     Never let yourself be body shamed, no! Stand tall, no slouching! Embrace yourself, you have to love yourself first for others to love you. Every disability has a reason, every disability has a solution. Be you for YOU. 

     Remember, nobody is perfect, people only bask in their imperfection to look perfect. Reshape your imperfection, let me reframe that word for you. 

      For me IMPERFECTION is I'm perfection, no word is truly negative, it's only your interpretation that is negative. 

     I am perfection itself, even in my imperfection. Repeat that sentence, speak it to your life💓.
